Located in a unique botanical park, all of our retreats are hosted at luxurious villa close to the town of Ovada’s medieval historic center. It has a fully equipped large art studio, a swimming pool, vegetable garden and a small vineyard. Alto Monferrato, our little corner of Italy has much to offer a visitor with a wide range of interests - wine tastings at the wineries, rejuvenating at the spa in nearby Aqui Terme (a hot sulfur springs health resort since Roman times), shopping at Seravalle (biggest designer Outlet Center in Europe), visiting Genoas world famous Aquarium or exploring nightlife on Italian Riviera.
We offer a variety of programs to choose from. Also we would be happy to design a unique creative retreat for your family reunion, corporate adventure or college student group and customize it according to your specific needs and schedule.

Creative Labyrinth - 7 days

This retreat is a perfect way to initiate, engage in and deepen a one-on-one working dialogue with the Muse. Creative Labyrinth is geared towards a wide-ranging set of interests, skills and artistic media. We will be using a lighthearted multilevel approach to facilitate authentic creative encounters as we actively explore surrounding areas of Liguria and Piemonte. Some of the topics to be covered are:

Following in the footsteps of the great outdoor painters of the past, this retreat is a working holiday for true plein-air enthusiasts painting with oils, acrylics pastels or mixed media. It includes a 4-hour work session in the morning and another one in the afternoon with full fledged focus on classic functioning landscapes that Van Gogh and Cezanne would enjoy dipping their brushes into. Sessions will include group and individual instruction for those who desire it, as well as group discussions regarding creative successes and challenges of the day.
